Duties to Parents

Parents are the most precious gift in our life. They give us birth, love, care, and guidance. From our childhood, they take care of us, feed us, and help us grow. They work very hard to make our life comfortable and happy. A mother spends sleepless nights to look after her child, and a father works all day long to earn money for the family. Therefore, it is our moral duty to love, respect, and obey our parents.

We should listen to their advice and never talk to them in a rude way. When they are sick or tired, we must help them and make them feel happy. We can help our mother in household work and our father in small tasks. We should study sincerely and become good human beings to make them proud.

As our parents grow old, they need more love and care. We should take responsibility for them just as they took care of us when we were small. We must never forget their sacrifices and hard work for us. Respecting parents is also taught by all religions and moral teachings.

In short, our parents are our greatest blessing. They always want the best for us. So, it is our sacred duty to be grateful, respectful, and kind to them. If we serve our parents with love and care, we will find peace and happiness in life. Loving and honoring our parents is the best way to show our true humanity.
